The spatial configuration of the hotel should enable a frame for continuous transformation and exploration. Each artist by dwelling in the artistic fortress would be influenced by the spatial frame of the personal atelier to re-examine its own individual limits: physical and psychological. The artist will inhabit in order to discover NEW inside self. Despite creating atelier space sculptured out of the functions and needs of the artists, we propose an inverse hypothesis where the space is given and the artist is left to inhabit, the continuous process between SELF, COMMON and SPACE.
QUESTIONS WE HAVE POSED
How to allow ourselves to be spatially sensitive towards an artist, in order to enable him to introspect his deepest inside consistent of strong feelings, poetic pictures and memories?
How to enable the insiding like a principle which will repeat itself under a certain hierarchy from the level of a person, to the level of the room, to the level of the architecture, to the level of territorial, cosmological and cosmogonic?
How to put inside a structure the notion of time, for the transience of the life time, one house, one world, and to accent the essential part of creation- striving for the absolute truth ?
How to create a spatial isolation and inspiration in the same time?
